WHY I DO THIS WORK

I did not come to naturopathy through a textbook.

I came through a decade of my own health journey - years of navigating anxiety that I was told I would simply have to learn to live with, insomnia that no one could explain, and hormonal disruption that I only started to understand once I stopped accepting 'normal' results as the final answer.

What changed everything was finding people who were willing to look deeper. Who asked what was driving the anxiety, not just how to quiet it. Who looked at my blood tests with genuine curiosity rather than a quick reassurance. Slowly, pulling back the layers, I got better.

"This is where I thrive — the meeting of modern functional medicine, careful biochemical analysis and the wisdom of herbal medicine passed down through generations."

Most of my clients arrive having already tried. They have seen the GP. They have had the tests. They have been told everything looks fine. What they have not had is someone who looks at those results with a fine-tooth comb, who accounts for the suboptimal ranges that standard testing misses, who asks about their emotional history alongside their physical symptoms. That is the gap I am here to fill.

I believe that when one person genuinely heals, it moves through everyone around them. A mother who is no longer exhausted. A young woman who finally understands her cycle. A grandparent with more energy and clarity. The ripple effect of this work is what keeps me here.

How I work

Every consultation starts with genuine curiosity about your whole picture — not just the symptom that brought you in. Your history, your patterns, your lifestyle, your emotional landscape. I use functional testing where standard pathology has not given us the full story, and I read blood results with attention to optimal ranges, not just the clinical ranges that say 'normal' while you still feel unwell.

Treatment combines herbal medicine, nutritional supplementation and dietary and lifestyle changes — but always in a way that accounts for your actual life. I do not hand people a 47-step protocol and wish them well. We build changes together, one step at a time, at a pace that sticks. I want you to understand every recommendation I make and why it is right for you specifically.

I also believe that the body keeps score emotionally as well as physically — which is why I am expanding into EFT (Emotional Freedom Techniques) in late 2026. Stress, anxiety and unprocessed emotional experiences show up in the gut, in hormonal disruption, in immune function, in sleep. Treating the whole person means treating all of it.

  • Root cause first — always asking why, not just what

  • Functional testing where standard pathology has missed the picture

  • Treatment that accounts for your real life, not an idealised one

  • Education woven through every session — you leave understanding your body better

IS THIS YOU?

Who we work best with

We work best with people who are ready to look at the whole picture — and who understand that genuine, lasting health change takes time and a real partnership. If you have been dismissed elsewhere and you are ready to be taken seriously, you are in the right place.

  • You are ready to investigate, not just manage.

  • You want to understand your own body, not just follow a protocol blindly.

  • You are willing to make changes — slowly, sustainably and with proper support.

  • You are looking for a practitioner who treats you as a whole person, not a single symptom.
